Today, Wednesday 13 November, the Education Secretary will host a Home Learning Environment summit in London which will bring together business, the media and tech companies – such as National Literacy Trust, LEGO and Disney – to look at home we can support parents with learning from home.
The Times Red Box column ran an op-ed from the Secretary of State about the Home Learning Environment summit.
In the op-ed, the Secretary of State sets out the importance of children learning communication and reading skills at an early age and how businesses, the media and tech companies all have a role to play in supporting this.
